Meet our Instructors

Emily Sampley
Founder & Instructor
Emily's passion for fitness came from watching her parents' active lifestyle and realizing that fitness is not just a hobby, it's a lifelong commitment. Emily has been teaching group fitness classes since 2019 and is certified in group fitness and yoga sculpt; and her background is in outdoor education. Emily's most important goal at Medley on Main is to make sure everyone feels welcome. It takes courage to show up for a fitness class, and she knows this. Emily is always working to further her fitness knowledge by attending other fitness classes outside of her own studio, and listening to podcasts, and reading books about fitness. "I could not do any of this without the support of my beautiful children and husband who does all the hard work behind the scenes."

Sam Sheppard
Yoga Instructor
Sam began practicing yoga at the age of 15 when she started tagging along with her mother to classes. During the pandemic, while living in Chicago, Sam decided to dive deeper into her yoga practice by beginning a RYT 200 yoga teacher training program. Her personal practice, and her teaching, revolve around building and growing a deeper awareness of and gentler relationship with the emotional body and the nervous system in order to strengthen our capacity for regulating and healing ourselves. Sam's classes are gentle and for all skill levels, all bodies, and anyone looking to connect with themselves through curiosity and care.
Jenny Reuchel
Yoga Instructor
Jenny, a Colorado native, has called the Roaring Fork Valley home her entire life. She discovered yoga 20 years ago and was immediately captivated by the profound mind-body connection it offered. Over the years, she has explored various yoga styles but found her passion in Power Yoga, drawn to its authenticity and the personal growth it fosters. In April 2018, Jenny completed her 200-hour Power Yoga training. She resides in New Castle with her husband, two children, and three dogs. When not teaching, she loves being outdoors and can often be found running mountain trails, embracing Colorado’s natural beauty.
